What's your favourite English word??

Hi All,
Did you know that today is officially English Language Day as 13th October 1362 was the first time the Chancellor of England opened a session of parliament with a speech in English.
As English is such a rich language I wondered if you had a favourite English word?
To get us going mine I'll let you know that my favourite English word is jeopardise which means to risk losing or destroying something. I like the way it sounds.

I didn't know about the 'English Day'... well, my favorite word is learning
belonging
I like the sound of it and it can have a nice meaning in certain contexts. Another nice one is meander.

My favourite english word is: pretentious, we might have to work hard how to be pretentious all the time.![]()
Maybe it's the sound but I just love flabbergasted, another wonderful word for surprised.

Hi everyone. My favourite English word is "elusive". I like how it sounds and it remembers me that you must fight for what you want. Wonderful things are elusive but worth pursuing.
