Did you know that today is officially English Language Day as 13th October 1362 was the first time the Chancellor of England opened a session of parliament with a speech in English.
As English is such a rich language I wondered if you had a favourite English word?
To get us going mine I'll let you know that my favourite English word is jeopardise which means to risk losing or destroying something. I like the way it sounds.
