Well firstly what a great day at IATEFL yesterday with several packed out sessions from Nicky Hockly, Adrian Pilbeam, Jeremy Harmer & Carol Higho and Sue O'Connell! Lot's of varied and engaging discussions, right from technology in the classroom to how a teacher can get MORE, keep their enthusiasm high and develop their careers.
Today we're looking forward to our Signature Event 'Responding the Needs of Generation Y'. Nicky Hockly and our panel of experts look at ways in which we can get teachers up-to-speed with the needs of Generation Y and the new technologies they use.
Panelists include Jamie Keddie (TEFLclips.com), Simon Buckland (Wall Street Institute International), Steve Oakes (IH Budapest) and Jill Hadfield (Unitech New Zealand). 11.45am in the Auditorium!
Also Norman Whitby and Rob Dean talk this afternoon about 'Form, Function and... Frustration!!!' This session looks at practical strategies to develop learners’ ability to communicate naturally using material from Lifestyle, the new course from Pearson Longman.
